Hey everyone!
So, as you know, I primarily publish two stories here on Technicool Dad.
The first is Township, a science-fiction story about a town of citizens who live aboard a massive World Ship and go on many adventures as they try to unravel the mysteries of their home.
The second is The Name of the Wand, a collection of ten years of adventures in the Warcraft universe. This story is about a fire mage and his travels across Azeroth, in a framed narrative.
Publishing both of these stories has been a bit chaotic. I have received input that having episodes from both shows going up each week can be a little overwhelming, and I can understand that. So, I just wanted to break things down for readers so that they have a clear marker moving forward:
Township
Township is currently releasing its fifth season and is about half way through the episodes. This show will continue to release every Tuesday until the final episode of the season, titled “Home” is published on November 10th, 2020.
Season 6 is currently in pre-production, and with all things COVID, even writing a story has taken a backseat to other life events. I’ll provide more updates on the next season of this show when I can.
Of one exciting note, there will be a special Holiday episode of Township this year! So, we’ve got that going for us! There will be plenty of news ahead for this exciting show, so if you’re a fan, please don’t let the Name of the Wand developments turn you away!

The Name of the Wand
Currently, The Name of the Wand is in the final stretch of the “Frozen North” story arc, and with an accelerated release schedule the season finale will conclude on October 11th, with the release of the final episode, Leaving Northrend.
I will then be avoiding any new Name of the Wand posts to give Township the attention that it deserves as front-runner. So, there will be no new episodes of The Name of the Wand released until after the finale of Township on November 10th, 2020.
That being said…
The next series, titled Shattered World, will begin airing just a few days later, starting on November 14th, and running with a new episode every day for its entire nine episode story arc! That will serve as my big thank you for putting up with a month long drought!
After this, Name of the Wand will take the primary spot on Technicooldad’s lineup with new episodes of the next story Alternate Worlds publishing every Tuesday and Thursday throughout December!
