Recently, my ongoing relationship with World of Warcraft went through some serious struggling.
Lately, something had not been clicking right with my paladin character, named Fynn. His healing numbers weren’t impressive and despite my best efforts I couldn’t seem to work out a comfortable place for him in the last raid.
So, with the recent accomplishment of “Ahead of the Curve: Lady Jaina Proudmoore“, I have decided to give Fynn a well-deserved break.

What to do in the meantime?
Well, over the years I’ve tried a lot of classes, but not once had I considered leveling a rogue. I never really felt a connection to the class before, as sneaking around isn’t my style!
Still, I had no real attraction to do anything else, so I popped onto a character and started giving it a try. Truth be told? I loved it. I feel constantly engaged with the character and so far it has felt like I always have a button to press or an action to perform. I interrupt, provide cover, reduce damage, and anything else you might be able to think about.

I don’t know what the future holds for Fyona. I do know that there’s enjoyment in my game time again and it’s mostly thanks to just changing things up with new options.
We’re still a good ways away from the new patch, or a new raid tier, so my hope is that Fyona might end up being very similar to how Fynn was in Legion. That is to say, a character that I can hone in on and perform well with until it’s time to look at the new expansion that’ll come out in 2020.
So, for now… sneaky sneak I go!
Great post 😃
