2025 Redesign

Here we go again.

There are times I wonder why I have a website. The noise generated on the internet from the likes of all the major social media platforms seems to overwhelm any one individual voice. Despite that bleak outlook, I find myself drawn back to my own little space on the web where I can shout into the void and share my shiny stories without having to interact with a single human being.

Don’t get me wrong. I’d love to interact with folks, but I’ve come to accept that I don’t really have the drive, the… hunger… to get out there and meet people and make them read my stories in a way that would catch fire and send me on my way. Likewise, I’ve never been able to grab onto a routine that’s required when it comes to making a presence in the social media space.

Instead, I just have a good ol’ fashioned blog. I update it sometimes… maybe a lot… maybe just once a year when I overhaul my design.

WordPress has AI generated art now. That’s interesting. I used the tool to create the featured image for this post. I don’t know how I feel about the experience, but I’ll admit I used to just scroll Google with “free thumbnails” or “copyright free” images so that I would have something to place in there before, so having access to something that spits out vaguely what I need is pretty cool.

I’m still writing.

I’m still gaming.
